Cajun chicken anyone?

I hope Sean likes it. We found out this week that Sean will be working in Fort Polk, Louisiana starting January 7th through the end of July. He will work 10 days on and have 4 days off. On his 4 days off, he will fly home to see us. Since I am still working full time, Carter and I will stay here and live part time with my parents to help out with my hectic work schedule. Sean and I will leave with a Uhaul at the beginning of January to drive to Louisiana and get him moved into an apartment. I will then fly home, and begin counting down the days to his return. Funny how you have one plan set in your mind, and then life takes you in a completely opposite direction.

Good luck guys, I'm glad you both have jobs. That's a big deal right now.

That's what I keep telling myself! It could be worse, right?

WOW! That's going to be a BIG change. Like your friend Andrea said, at least you have a job. Speaking from experience, it is not fun living without one! Its nice that you have your family so close to help you out. Are you selling your house or just staying with the folks a few nights a week? I'll be thinking of you!

Jessica, I can relate. Curtis was working and living in Avondale for 6 months while I house was being built. Then I was able to join him - that was when he was called as Bishop. So...are you going to be attending your parent's ward or stay in Cold Water through all this? Best to you all. Have a Merry Christmas.

Best of luck to you guys! If you are driving through to Louisiana, and you need a place to stop around El Paso - you are welcome here! Just send me an email. A job is a job. Also, we are renting our house in Avondale, and it's working out okay. If you are interested in going that route - I have a number. :) Best wishes and Merry Christmas!
