I'm in love with my crockpot

Have you checked out this crockpot recipe blog yet? A crockpot recipe for everyday? Nice. I am in love with it! I have always had 1 meal that I use my crockpot for, Cream Cheese Chicken which is so good, but anyways with this being my busy season for work, when I get home at night I am in no mood to cook dinner. So to avoid eating cereal every night for dinner I decided I should start using my crockpot more. I have made 3 meals in it this week and am in Heaven! It has been so nice to come home from a long day at work and smell dinner as soon as I walk in and really only have a couple of minutes of prep work for dinner before we eat. Monday night we had this. So good! I also recommend this and this

So now that I am in love with my crockpot--I want more recipes! What are your favorite crockpot recipes?

Awesome, thanks for the link, I can't wait to try some of them. i LOVE making steak sandwiches, we had those yesterday, they are SO GOOD. I also have a pretty good chili crock pot recipe (and I hate chili). A good cheesy chicken one too. I'll email you the recipes.

Oh Jess, I have this good recipe you will like.
You will need:
- Lime juice (the kind in the bottle that looks like a lime) found at Frys in the produce section.
- frozen chicken brests (2 brests are a lot for two people and you will have left overs, you can do as much as you want)make sure to use frozen chicken.
-chili powder

rub chili powder on frozen chicken, as much as you want. Squeeze half the bottle of lime juice in the bottom of your crock pot. Put chicken in crock pot and cook on low for about for about 6-8 hours. when done, use a fork and shred the chicken in the pot. This is good for many dishes. You can eat it over salad with salsa as dressing, wrap it in a tortilla as a chicken burro, make a quesadila. It has many uses and if you come up with another one let me know.

Hey thanks for the site of the crock pot recipes. I am always looking for some new ideas for dinner. I only have one crock pot recipe and everyone else knows it. it is the Italian Chicken one. I can hardly wait to try some new food around here.

great site! Thanks for sharing it! I love my crockpot too! I just usually put some meat in there, dump in some Sweet Ray's BBQ sauce and violia, in a matter of hours you've got shredded pork or chicken sandwiches . I've done the chicken taco recipe similar to the one you posted. Good luck in the busy season!
