We went to the lake on Grandad's boat this weekend. Carter was a little unsure of his life jacket at first but he got used to it. He loved going over the waves and going fast.
I actually wasn't nervous at all. I didn't even think about it--I guess because I have been going to the lake my whole life and my siblings have been bringing their kids for the last 10 years. I was so glad that he didn't fight the life jacket thing--we're going to Lake Powell for a week and he will have to wear it a lot!

looks fun! were you nervous at all? i guess the lifejacket helps. i'm pretty sure neither of my kids would ever consent to a lifejacket.
